Stage I:This assignment is described above. Your challenge will be presenting it. How will your group do this? Will you use computer based instruction? Would you rather use visual images? This is going to be important. Stage II: Of course all the basic information will be taught, but what important bits of information will you emphasize? What makes the climate, or topography, or culture of your nation or areas so unique? Emphasize these points. Stage III: Often times students take on more than they can handle. Work together. Divide the work so that skills and talents are appropriately assigned. Do you need help with some sort of soft-ware? Share your knowledge, or, if no one has that skill, let me know and I will have Mr. Bray instruct you in how to use that technology. Stage IV: Practice, rehears or demonstrate to each other how you will present the information. Is it interesting, engaging and informative? How can it be improved? Stage V: Provide an outline on your class's wikispace of your presentation. That will give them an idea of what to take notes on. Stage VI: Present. Be prepared to be asked questions for clarification etc. Be an expert on your region! Homework Assignment: East Asian Geography Scavenger Hunt (optional: do not complete unless told to do so)
